Just received an e-mail from Tich Frier another member of the great Bitter Withy. "Broken hearted to report that Lesley Hale passed away this morning. She was diagnosed with abdominal cancer earlier this year and although she fought hard, she went downhill very quickly in the last few weeks. I'll let you know the funeral arrangements when I get them." Another loss to Scottish folk music. I'm sure there are many out there will remember "Find Me An Island" and "Rose of York", the song she co-wrote with Kenny Thompson. I'll miss you Lesley - so long, it's been good to know you. Eddie
