Down here in Va. I at times run across these folks..Its seems to be they are always trying to do the hard sell with me.
I have been to Lowes and when I was trying to get out of my truck this guy was trying to save me from the devil, no kidding. I had this old door in the back of the truck and asked him, "you want this door?" and he said "Sure". That changed the subject.
Just the other day I was at a Hardies trying to eat and in the other part of the room there were a few folks that were very loud, I mean loud with Jesus and you could kind of tell they were just looking for a person who was not a believer but I would not take the bait. I made contact with some other folks in the place and some were rolling their eyes. After a while I just had to get out of that place.
I wish I had some way of not hearing these kind of folks but in this part of the county they are all over the place. So when I hear this stuff I always have to ask them if they are Klan, who knows. And they all say the same thing, "No, I am not that bad". I then tell them, "well, you should join up because there is not much difference with what you said and the klan seems to be pushing." They then give me that look that has a look of bewilderment.
But the point is one has to always stand up to this kind of thing.
Still Pickin'
