First session this coming Sunday with tutor Wendy Brown from The Sage Gateshead. Steel Pan Jammin' Sunday 18th October 2009 The Ropewalk, Barton upon Humber 10am – 4pm Wendy Brown This is a fantastic one-off opportunity to learn the steel pans from world class pannist and tutor Wendy Brown from The Sage Gateshead. The workshop will focus on accessibility of the instruments, session plans for beginners, arranging music for pan, improvisation on pan, how to buy steel pans, linked musical games and exercises, and progression routes. You will be taught in a fun group environment and take away great ideas for use in your own music leading.
