http://www.flickr.com/photos/lorcanotway/4009165275/ Here is my new little guy ( see the song above, Damian's flea song...) He came to us, Oct 13th from a rescue shelter. He had been used as a bait dog in a dog fighting club which was busted on Coney Island. He spent six months in the shelter, where they did a great job at getting him used to people again. He is not used to other dogs yet, may never be... but he is a good fellow and a fast learner. He's a short haired, long legged Jack Russell. Very loving and loyal little guy.

He has not barked since he came here, great for a theater dog, as he spends much of his day in the theater with me - but it might mean they cut his vocal cords, as they often do in fight clubs. I've taken him to the vet, and he is being treated for a few minor things, but next visit I will have him examined for that...

Well, Damian "Dai-bach" and I send our best to all the new dogs out there, especially the rescued pooches...
