The obit doesn't mention one of Art D'Lugoff's last music projects, a museum of the 1950s-1960s folk music revival that was to be opened in NYC's Greenwich Villiage. Plans for the museum were first reported by Ben Sisario in the NY Times on 13 June 2000. A benefit concert was scheduled for the night after the article appeared, a board had been recruited, some artifacts collected, and some general goals set for the museum. I don't know if the museum ever moved beyond that point. It is certainly hard to think of a more appropriate organizer for that effort than Art D'Lugoff.
