I maintain a permanent email account at UND outside of my regular email address from our ISP. I use it for a variety of things that are not music/business related, and, it's always there when we change ISP's to prevent a total email shut-down.

Currently, I have a cell phone and two email accounts; I do not text anyone, I have absolutely no idea what twitter is, I am not on You Tube and don't know how to get on there, nor am I on My Space or Facebook and do not know how to get on either one of those and don't know why I'd want to.

Having written all of that, I keep getting these notices in my UND email box that "so-and-so" (names of folk whom I know) has requested that I be added as a "friend" to his/her Facebook account.
I have also been advised that this is some fraudulent activity and should be ignored. Can anyone tell me what's going on here? Is this some sort of nonsense activity? If so, what's the point? Any help on this would be appreciated. Cheers,................harrison
