northern lass iTunes - Folk genre gone missing! (44) RE: iTunes - Folk genre gone missing! 20 Nov 09

It's Becks here and I am back!
Allbeit with a new name as I changed computers and couldn't remember my passwords.

iTunes is great and I love my ipod but I am not a huge fan of apple computers although they are fine for the individual home user.
I have nothing but issues with them for business use.

There is only 5 catogories now on iTunes, not quite sure I fit into any of them! And I certainly have no idea where to find the stuff i like.
I'm not sure I want to be in the singer/songwriter section or the Alternative. And I am certainly not Rock, Pop or Classical.
Where would the like of Martin Carthy or Rusby or Woomble, Drever and McCusker go?

What's folk music anyway? Only probably one of the oldest forms of music and its been pushed out.

I have a bee in my bonnet and I don't care! bzzz bzzz bzzz.
