She will just have to fork-out for the replacement. What about reparing the old ones? A substantial collar crimped or maybe set in lead, sweated into position. Yes Yes they would have a different centre of gravity but so would an upstart spoon. I would lend her my red ones but they are rather attached to me, emotionally.
