Oh! as you can imagine I am devasted over the demise of my spoon. It just fell in two, just before the gig, metal fatigue I think you would call it, just where my forefinger and thumb held it, so sad. Nothing could be done to save it and it's twin is in mourning as I write. It will be placed along with it's broken siblin in a very special frame at home and mounted on my bedroom wall. It has been a part of me for 35 years, and now I have to train another pair. I don't even know if they are able to work together yet! However there are a few pairs from the spoons orchestra who over the years have auditioned unknowingly so I think all is not lost............what this space.   SOB!
