Performance: Alquimia - Pre-Hispanic Mexican Music and Dance

As part of its Moctezuma Exhibition, the British Museum is presenting a concert featuring Mexican-born sonic innovator Alquimia singing in languages including Nahuatl, the pre-hispanic language of Mexico, accompanied by dancers and projections.

Alquimia is a classically-trained singer whose style mixes her voice with samples, electronics, ethnic percussion and other instruments.

Will Summers - ethnic flutes and ocarinas
Will Hughes - percussion and extra vocals
