GUEST,Baffled Down South Banjo Ukulele (16) Down South Banjo Ukulele 06 Jan 10

Hello, I have an old banjo ukulele with a paper label with the name Down South on it with British Manufacture underneath at the bottom of the headstock. At the top of the headstock embossed into the wood is what I assume used to be gold coloured, a lion and British Make. I have searched the internet to find out more information but to no avail. Does anyone know anything either about the banjo itself or the company? The banjo is made of a fairly light coloured wood and has a silver metal resonator. Any feedback would be much appreciated.
