I am originally from Southbourne in Bournemouth and was looking for someone I worked with as a glazier in Bournemouth in the late 60's and early 70's. His name was Alfie Woodall and he introduced me to the music of Bonzo Dog Band, whose music I am listening to even now. I live in Australia now and have done pretty well, but I have always regretted that I did not visit my friend in hospital after a serious car crash. Truth was I was terrified of hospitals, but never explained this to him. Even my wife has had to accept this when she was in hospital a few times. Anyway, wanted to let him know as although he may never have thought anything of it, it has been bugging me as he was a really good bloke and a great laugh. I saw his name mentioned on this website and thought someone might know him.
