On August 22 I started a thread about the "Seaman's Hymn" in which I wrote:
"I understand that "The Seamen's Hymn" was written by Bert Lloyd for a BBC docudrama and the tune was from a Welsh Hymn. (It wouldn't surprise me if it were Methodist.) Does anyone know the name of the tune?"
If any of you kind folks would care to "weigh in" on that thread -- conveniently called "HELP: The Seaman's Hymn" -- I'd be grateful.
