We do this Don Reno tune in Castle Ridge, especially when hired to do a gospel show. But the key here is that historical and theological accuracy is rarely a requirement (or even desirable) in a bluegrass gospel number. I'm reminded of the Carter Stanley tune White Dove. “...But the Savior needs angles up in heaven, Now they sing around the great white throne.” This always gives me a vision of what we used to call “driving the porcelain bus.” Not a good vision to have in the middle of a show. - Mark
