Cut my teeth in Chicago from '75 to '82 and remember that shirt REAL well(0:55). Art was/is the punniest man alive. While I've no love lost for plenty playing around town in those days Art was gracious, self-effacing, encouraging and ALWAYS genuinely interested. Heck of a song thief, too...I learned ALOT from being around him. ;-)

At a musical gathering once Art was idly picking at some plaster in the hallway of the building as we were climbing the stairs to the apartment. Tom Dundee said, "Art, you better stop that there might be asbestos in it."

Art not missing a beat, "Well, Tom I'm doing as best as I can."

All together now: GROAN!
