Listen to the old recordings of folk songs and none of them are accompanied by the guitar. Sometime, somewhere, someone must have made the inspired/ lamentable (delete one) decision that they would be immeasurably improved by strumming along. Who do we thank/ blame (delete one)? A. Capella Esq.
