Greetings All, I knew Tony Hill through the Eagle and Child Folk Club, Whitefield Manchester in the early 1980's and Bouncing Billy Barker was always a favourite of the regulars and the whole room would resinate when we all sang the chorous. Tony was a lovely chap and he gave me a book of his songs once which has sadly been lost in various house moves. A fine chap singing about a remarkable character....and I for one believe all the feats attributed to the one and only "Bouncing Billy Barker" and what a huge delight to find Tony singing the song on the internet-brought back many fond memories of The Eagle and Child.
