It could be any one of several. One that comes to mind is Art Podell, former chief instrumentalist and arranger for Randy. He was from New York, I believe, and got his start with former partner Paul Potash in Greenwich Village in the late 1950's. It could be Potash, as well. He played with the Minstrels for a brief time.
