David Massengill, one of the most respected songwriters to come out of the NYC folk scene of the 1980's, visits with Ron Olesko this Sunday (9/10) on WFDU-FM's TRADITIONS. (3 to 6pm on 89.1FM in the NYC area, or listen in via the internet at www.wfdu.fm.
David Massengill; whose songs such as "My Name Joe", "The Great American Dream", and "On the Road to Fairfax County" have been recorded by Joan Baez, The Roches, and others; will perform some of his newest tunes. His recent songs have dealt with his family history and the local history of his Bristol, Tennessee home.
Also this week, FOLKSTAGE with Si Kahn in concert will be heard at 3pm.
