Speaking out means we stand up for our rights and for the environment. Doing what you suggest may help your portfolio, but it doesn't help any of the people in this country who are being fucked over by BP, or the environment, either. And in case your attitude is, "well, hell, why should I care, that's so far away from me", my answer is, don't bet on it. The oil is going to be heading your way after it's finished with my state. Perhaps you'll be singing a different tune then, when you find out just how much help the people in your country get from BP after you are awash in oil.
