Hello to all, Richard here (of Peter Kasin & Richard Adrianowicz). We were sorry to miss the Griswold. We had gotten some conflicting information from two different contacts at the Gris concerning optimum arrival time but by the time we finally rented rooms at a Howard Johnsons Motel we were just exhausted. For my own part I was feeling the effects of taking too many pain killers (both of my hips are dislocated) - usually I just take my meds at night to sleep but activity at the festival had me taking them during the day as well! Pretty much out of it at the end there. That being said I did have a great time at the festival. Between the Barrouallie Whalers, Nordet, the Johnson Girls, Bob Webb, Bob Walser, David Coffin ... I could go on because I don't think there was anyone there I didn't like. Except for the last day I did not make any of the after-hours shanty sings for lack of energy. It was great seeing John Roberts again, and Jerry Bryant (that saucy devil), Charlie and Judy, Dan Milner (I enjoyed gettting to know you better, Dan). And it was great having Walter Askew there. Walt has always been supportive and is a good friend. Peter and I do regret not having called him up to sing with us. I'm sure I'll think of someone else I failed to mention here but I'm at work so I'll post again later. Richard Adrianowicz (radriano)
