We have a banjo that we have had for many years that we were looking to sell, it will need some work but it's in good condition. No strings, etc. Pass around the family and just displayed at the house. On the back it says SS Stewart (diagonal in two places), Philada and also the serial number 2699. It also says Ludwig Whitecalf on the back of the skin. From doing a little research it looks like pre-1888? I have some pictures but not sure how to post them. Thank you for your assistance!
