I remember the days of The Mathews brothers,mainly in late 70s Arundel,Sussex,where they were very popular, but also at the Burnt Post in Coventry with Doonan and Wilson: what a great band!I particularly liked 'Bonnie light horseman'(with plaintive tin whistle),'Rambling suiler','The Galbally farmer' and 'Binnorie',in fact almost everything on the 2 albums mentioned,and learnt some of them myself.A colleague and I sang 'Step it out Mary' at a school staff 'do'! The performances I saw felt very special;great vocals and fantastic instrumentals.
