Greetings all ... I'd forgotten about this request until I googled the same question today (6.5 years later). I play the song all the time these days, but there's still that sticky transition that stumps me from time to time (it's at the start of the 3rd line in the refrain - no idea why it gets me every time). While it's fresh in my mind, this is the way I do it (similar to W-O but a full step lower and some slight mods): St John's Waltz (Ron Hynes) open with chord progression from refrain Oh the (C)harbour (G7)lights are (C)gleaming And the (F)evenings still and (C)dark And the (C)seagulls (Em7)are all (Am7)dreaming(Am) Seagull (D)dreams on Amherst (G)Rock And the (C)mist is (G7)slowly (C)drifting As the (F)storefront lights go (C)dim And the (C)moon is gent(Em7)ly (Am7)liftin(Am) As the (D)last ships (G)comin in (Refrain) Every (F)sailor's got a story(G) Some are (C)true(Em7), and some are (F)false(Am7) But they're (Dsus2)always (G)wrecked, and they're (E7)up on the (A7)deck (Dsus2)Dancin' the (G)St John's (C)Waltz. etc.
