I was surprised to read above that Hamish Henderson had a hand in the album notes, although I know that Tim Neat belives Hamish did them all. For me they have Morris Blythman's hand, style and approach stamped right through. See his Chapbook article on Scotland's rebel songs for comparison. I go into aspects of the songs, the Glasgow Song Guild, and many other things in my new book The Eskimo Republic, Scots political song in action 1951-1999, available in a few weeks. I'll post a proper message about it then. Ewan
