Re: skunked beer. UV light is beer's enemy. Brown bottles are best for protecting beer from light. Green glass, while pretty, doesn't do a good job. This is why Heineken is often skunky. Clear glass lets you see the pretty color of your beer, but lets in the full spectrum of light at the same time. Beer likes to be stored in a cool dark place.
