Hi all

Hope you're all keeping well. This month's guest at Maudslay Thursday is the incomparable James Keelaghan.

Called Canada's finest singer-songwriter by one of the most respected music journalists of the last 50 years, James is an artist who has proven to be a man for all seasons. As the calendar pages have turned, for almost a quarter of a century now, this poet laureate of the folk and roots music world has gone about his work with a combination of passion, curiosity intent and intensity.

His masterful story telling has, over the course of nine recordings, been part of the bedrock of his success, earning Keelaghan nominations and awards - including a Juno (Canada's Grammy) - and acclaim from Australia to Scandinavia. Check him out at
www.keelaghan.com

Support is provided by Tina Taylor, a young singer and guitarist from Nottinghamshire also known as Mudcat's very own Muppitz! Have a listen at www.myspace.com/tinataylormusic

Tickets cost £9 in advance or £10 on the night and can be booked by calling Jude on: 07535 130975, emailing us at: maudslaythursday@yahoo.co.uk or online at wegottickets.com: www.wegottickets.com/location/2684

Hope to see you there!

Chris and the team
