My wife is a primary/junior school teacher and some of the anecdotes she comes home with keep me laughing. At lunchtime the kids say a little prayer of thanks, which according to the kids goes; 'Thank you for the food we eat and those who repair it'. As the food is delivered over some distance in a van, there could be some truth in this! And in Kent the kids don't ask to go to the bathroom - they say 'Can I go for a toilet'. So my wife always points them in the direction of B&Q's hardware store down the road. Many other anecdotes but I've forgotten most of them - I keep telling her to write them down for publication when she retires. Anyway, my three little grandchildren keep me chuckling most days so I'm not sure I agree with this survey.
