I agree Richie - obits are like any BS thread and if you want to post one, it doesn't have to be solely a folk singer/musician. In fact I welcome the opportunity to give Andy Holmes's tragic death a bit of debate. I've just been reading about Andy in the paper and he sounds like a nice sort of bloke as well as an Olympic medal winner. He and his wife had a baby girl only 4 wks ago and I can only imagine what his wife is now going through. I used to live near a river near which rats occasionally appeared and I always warned my kids not to swallow any of the water as I knew about Weils disease. It's just a shame that in Andy's case the antibiotics didn't work their usual miracle. RIP.
