Heard the very sad news that Rob Haskell suffered a massive heart attack on Sunday 24th October. There's probably not a celeidh/Barn Dance in the south of England that hasn't benefitted from Rob's wit, humour AND talent as a caller. He used to also have a folk music programme on Wey Valley Radio and was very keen to 'spotlight' up-and-coming singers on his show either on record/cassette/CD or, more particularly, a live session. He will be very sadly missed down here.
