Far to many to list....but stand outs include: Bernard Wrigley singing falsetto 'The Girl from Ipanema" at, I think, Trowbridge Festival, c1974. Peter Bellamy playing what must have been the complete works of blues legend Robert Johnson at a party in Sydney c1980. Canadian Vera Johnson playing at the Troubadour Club in Bristol c1970. Garstang Morris Men, the first "non-Cotswold" side I'd ever seen, somewhere around 1972, dancing a processional after nightfall by torchlight, somewhere on the Fylde coast. Amazing! First time I saw and heard the somewhat offbeat harmonies of The Songwainers, c1971. Listening to the Copper Family's "A Song for Every Season" for the first time on vinyl, c1971. First time I ever heard "Dancing at Whitsun", probably Tim Hart on the Summer Solstice LP. One of my all-time favorite songs. Recently? Hmmm. Sadly, a little less "stunnable" as I've got older....
