Not that there is anything wrong with this, but The Christmas Tree is not from some old broadside, but from the New York Gospel Tin Pan Alley of William B. Bradbury - published just one year before his untimely death. Mr. B was one of the greats, and he certainly nailed this one.
I hope a get it sung by a large crowd next year, or a small crowd would be ok with a good beer.
