Ebbie - Not particularly. The northeastern end of the New Madrid Seismic Zone (source of the infamous 1811-1812 earthquakes) does extend up into Southwest Indiana. Now, Marion (where mmm1a was reporting from) is much further upstate, but it's certainly not surprising that there would be a few minor faults up there. |
