GUEST,Frug Tech: Bose wave music system (15) RE: Tech: Bose wave music system 11 Jan 11

I have had a Bose system for about 3 years. It is radio, CD and CD exchanger. Cost £500 from the factory outlet in Bicester and was one that had been returned following one of their "Taste and Try" marketing campaigns. (Retail price about £1150) It is a big sound and certainly does fill the whole of our downstairs at only a fraction of the volume control. Overall we have been very pleased with it however the major drawback is that you have virtually no control over the bass/treble settings and you are reliant on the factory settings. To an large extent this has been OK, however there are certain sorts of music and certain types of recording where you do want to tinker about and that is not possible. Final line satisfied...mostly.....would I do it again.....probably not I would go for Cambridge.
