In his notes on compiling the list, he mentions thanks to one woman who let him know "from notations in one of her diaries a guest night that had been changed at short notice".

So, for instance, if you went to Topic in the 1950s and 1960s and kept a diary, maybe you made a note of seeing some guest on a specific date, and we could fill in another little hole in the database.
