I do this song in 6/8. I found several versions I liked, then picked an chose among the verses to get the ones I liked best, so that I can sing "Hard hearted Barbara Allen" in two of them. I heard Judy Collins do BA in concert last spring. Her version is much kinder to Miss Allen thatn the other versions I've seen & heard. Mimosa
