Crack is in the side that rests against my legs when I play. It is in the same direction as the grain of the wood. I would say it is about half the length of the guitar body. I saw it for the first time yesterday because I ran my hand over the guitar and felt the rough edge. There is a small (quarter-inch?) bit that looks stove in as well. Sharyn @Dave. A capella singing is not a new skill to me, but it won't prevent me from losing callouses or dexterity.@ others: No loans on offer yet -- looking for sources. The guitar doc lives far away and cannot come down here any time soon.
