I was only there once when I subbed for the regular driver of my buddies" band, "Blond Boy Grunt and the Groans". I drove 120 miles in the blizzard of the year. It was a cool club, as you said an old carriage house. I spent the evening sitting in front of the fireplace drying out my feet. The employees and clientelle were all appreciative that we showed up at all and even though the crowd was on the small side because of the weather, they kicked in almost $200 bucks into this little barrel they passed around at the end of the night. It's a unique, cozy folk club and I hope whoever takes it over keeps it going unchanged for many years.
