Hi Richard, I know, we classicly dissagreed on Ireland, and had a great back on forth on an US Supreme Court case or two on Ireland... on his opic, I completely agree. We seem to support the villans we can control, and kill the villans we can't, while all the time being rather villinous ourselves. The idea of an American President, sending his children to a "Quaker" school, then committing a common murder with done fire in nations with which we are not at war... it seems a little odd to be, well in the words of Sinaid O'Connor, " the same orders are given by you..." Maybe it because we are lawyers and at least expect rule of law in the world. Law is not law because the UN makes it law, law is law because it is dependable, is applied to all with the same scale. When law is dictated by what is popular we are all damned. I will concider what is being done is lawful the day they put Bush and Obama, Blair and Thatcher on trial. Law is only law when blindfolded to the identity of the defendant. All the best Lorcan
