Greetings:

I just learned that Matt Jones, one of the original SNCC Freedom Singers, passed away last night (29 March 2011) in New York City. Matt's health had been deteriorating since last summer, so this comes as no surprise, but it is still very sad news.

Rest in peace, beloved comrade.
