As just your basic pub singaround singer, I have to say, I would rather hear 100 'bad singers' who know what they're singing about, and what it means to them, than 1 'good singer' who's all style and no substance. Autotune isn't the only way of polishing the life out of a song. Some well-trained singers, more concerned with the medium (i.e. their precious voice) than the message, have been polishing the life out of songs for years.
