Bob was a HUGE early influence on me, too, as was Raphael Boguslav, whose "Songs From a Village Garrett" is still lovely and inspiring after all this time. I find myself attributing much of my ability to sing interesting harmonies to subconsciously absorbing the unusual and sparkling harmonies of Hamilton (nee Bob) Camp, whose voice on those early Gibson & Camp albums crackles with intelligent and fearless musical choices. I miss them both, and am eternally grateful for all of the musical lessons they taught me. Deborah Robins www.larryhanks.com www.cdbaby.com/cd/hanksrobins
