Frank said the book left a lot out. And I'm forced to agree. Lee Hays was a fascinating figure in the history of the folk revival. Pete Seeger does so well to interract with these modern folksingers. The battles he and Lee fought with each other, and the victories they enjoyed together - well its damn well intriguing -they were so far removed from today, and yet the struggles of artists to make their own unique contribution is timeless.
