The Sore Fingers Summer School which teaches Old Time and Bluegrass instruments and voice at Kingham Hill School near Chipping Norton will feature in a half hour documentary called Sore Fingers on BBC Radio 4 on Thursday June 2nd at 11.30 AM. The week before Easter, BBC radio producer Lindsay Leonard spent Tuesday to Saturday morning at Sore Fingers with a couple of recording machines absorbing all the sounds she could. The end result is a half hour radio programme on Radio 4 entitled Sore Fingers. It will have no presenter, but will be more of a collection of sounds, voices, tunes and songs - a bit like a Radio Ballad. Anyone thinking about getting there next year should listen to this!
