Depends. Sometimes I say "Would you like me to play 'Far, Far Away'?"

Or "Yeah - that's a great song: I should learn that!"

But if I even half know it I'll give it a bash. It nearly always helps get them onside, even if I mess it up and only know half the words.

Certainly, having a bunch of enthusiastic "normal" people can really spice up a singaround.
