Aw!c'mon Good Soldier Schweik you can't organise a festival anywhere in England without clashing with something else,folk festival or not. It's simple really,you pays your money and you takes your choice. I know Hetton le Hole reasonably well and given the choice I will always gravitate towards Whitby 'cos if there are bits of the festival that don't appeal there's always plenty to do. Any road up we enjoyed it immensely so big thank you to Glen and Chris from me and Liz. PS.I still didn't get a chance to play your Streb Les,perhaps in August!
