They're coming out with 3D STILL cameras next. I don't want one.
I just went to the photo exhibit at the Met and I can tell you that the newer technology does NOT make for a better photograph- or photographer. The most stunning, beautiful and timeless photos I saw were by Steichen (early 20th century) of ghostly trees at night- and Steigletz-(late 19th century!) of New York City streets at night- as elegant and iconic as its ever been.
