Then their 'customer service' really stinks. Most companies over here WILL arrange a plan of some sorts if you are struggling - ie half this month, half next, or as I said, a meter as a last resort. It's incredible that you can't get some sort of disability benefit, but I don't really know how Social Security works in the USA.
