Me, too. No matter what he played, I couldn't help seeing him as Joy Boy in Pocketful of Miracles. It was a fine Damon Runyon play ("Apple Annie," I think) and Falk did brilliant Runyon Broadway characters. I think he got pretty good mileage. Several times on TV I heard him and also read him relate one story - refreshingly different each time... Seems very early on he was turned down after an audition. He mildly complained that he thought he did pretty well. The producer allowed that he was a good enough actor but for the same money he could hire an actor with _two_ eyed. RIP
