A couple weeks ago, one of my kittens got a swollen jaw. It spread until his eye was puffy..and after about 4 days, he died. We thought it was a bad tooth (he had a gray tooth in the same side of his mouth as the gump) and I suspect he died of dehydration. Yesterday, another kitten got a gump. His started at his eye instead of taking a day or two to get there. No runny nose, no particular behavior changes, no lack of eating/drinking (except when Mol didn't have the energy to get to the waterbowl..he didn't miss any meals until the day he died) no sneezing. Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this and/or how to treat it? It's heartbreaking when kittens get sick..especially when I have no idea what to do for them. Thanks, M
